Organizers are sorting student projects and registration folders, getting judges’ evaluation forms ready, preparing prizes for our student raffle and double-checking mountains of paperwork. In short, we’re doing everything possible to make sure tomorrow runs smoothly.

A few quick reminders:

If you’re a student: Plan to arrive at the River Building at Carleton University between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Remember that once you arrive, you’ll need to check in to receive your registration package. This contains your interview time, a program and info about the workshop you’re supposed to attend. It is really important that you be on time and give yourself plenty of time to find the River Building and get checked in.

If you’re a judge: Your breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and your orientation will begin at 8 a.m. When you arrive, please proceed to the judges’ registration package to pick up your evaluation forms, a program, rulebook and ID badge.

• If you’re a parent: You are welcome at National Capital History Day. You can watch our opening and awards ceremonies, take in a workshop, watch student documentaries and dramas, browse the Exhibit Hall and the Hall of History and take in our keynote address.

See you tomorrow!
