Welcome to National Capital History Day!

After months of preparation, National Capital History Day is finally here.

Join us in Carleton University's River Building.

Join us in Carleton University’s River Building.

Students and judges will begin arriving at Carleton University’s River Building at 7:30 a.m. and our opening ceremonies will begin at 8:30 a.m.

And the day is not just for students — teachers, librarians, historians, journalists, archivists, musicians, authors, undergraduate and graduate students, executives, professors, parents and family members will all be a part of this incredible day of learning.

We hope everyone has an exciting and fun-filled National Capital History Day. Be sure to tell us about your experience via this site, Twitter (@OttawaHistory — #NCHD15) or dropping us a line at ottawahistoryday [at] gmail.com . We’d love to hear from you.

This trophy will go to the top-ranked school, based on a point system that includes marks for participations and wins. Last year's winner was Glebe Collegiate Institute.
