There is such a thing as a free lunch — it’s at NCHD16!

For the second year in a row, Carleton’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences will be sponsoring our student historians’ lunches.

So, if you’re a student who registered a project for National Capital History Day, your lunch will now be included. You’ll receive a coupon in your registration package (which you’ll receive when you check in at Carleton) that will allow you to purchase a lunch in the University Centre‘s food court, just a short walk from the River Building.

Thank you so much to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and especially Dean Catherine Khordoc for this generous offer — our students are very grateful. After a morning full of history, interviews with judges, and workshops, they will most certainly be ready to take a break and get together for lunch.
