It may be the March Break, but you’ll want to get up early to hear all about National Capital History Day on CBC Radio on Monday morning.
Ottawa Morning will feature a segment all about the big day — how it works, how it got started and how it makes history so much fun.
And it will feature two fans of National Capital History Day: Greg Wysynski helped us get NCHD off the ground in our first year and was our Master of Ceremonies for our first two years, and Esther Vininsky-Oakes was a two-time winner in our Essay category before going on to study history at Carleton University. (You can read an interview with Esther in the Ottawa Citizen here.)
Set your alarm clock, get your coffee and listen in between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. for the full story on CBC Radio, 91.5 FM (or you can hear it online here, just click “listen live”).
